New project

There’s been a lot of talk this week about a new project I’m involved in called Volcano Choir.  This is something we’ve worked on over the past few years that finally came together over a very work intensive two weekends this year.  For each of us, the results are perceived differently – for some, it’s an experimental record, for others, it’s a pop record.  However, the experience of making this music for each of us represents what can happen when people put their effort toward rethinking what they do, how they do it, and making the best of a collaborative situation.  In this regard, we can all agree that we accomplished something surprising and refreshing for each of us, and we’re pretty pleased with the results.  You might have to wait awhile to hear it though…
