Thanks to everyone who came to the Physical Changes shows last week.  After only 4 shows, my ears are blown, my mind is dissolved, and I feel like I’ve been run over by a truck.  But it was worth it.  Special thanks to Ronen at Le Poisson Rouge, Dustin at Bowerbird, Jon Lorenz and John Rich at Art Damage Lodge, and Gabe at Robinwood Concert House for putting on the shows – your hospitality and venues are top notch.  VERY special thanks to Jonathan Kane, James Plotkin, and C. Spencer Yeh for joining Jim, Dave and I in various cities.  You made the experience so much more amazing!

It was a trip beyond just traveling.  To fight my bronchitis, I had to take multiple doses of prescription cough syrup every day, which proved to make things a bit strange, to say the least.  This had me telling harsh jokes on the streets of Philly, recounting tales of shrunken penises, and barely being able to have a conversation with anyone in Cincinnati.  But the music was where it all came together.  Sometimes I felt like I was floating, watching everything from above, or sitting in a dark woods in total silence.  Hopefully those that went have something to remember, too.  Thanks again for sharing the experience.
