		<description>I think it has more to do with &#039;not having expectation&#039; than not paying attention.  The sense of discovery that accompanies that attention can be very rewarding.  If you know about something in advance, then attend, there&#039;s sort of this built up anticipation for how &#039;good&#039; it&#039;s going to be.  And if it doesn&#039;t go exactly the way you envisioned, we judge it as less desirable, which really is unfair, in some ways.

Nonetheless, it is useful to &#039;know&#039; things. There are so many times where I&#039;ve found out about something after it&#039;s happened, and that dreadful feeling of &#039;i&#039;ll never have the chance to experience that&#039; takes hold, which is really frustrating.</description>
